Karnataka School Reopening News: On Tuesday, Karnataka Deputy CM C N Ashwath Narayana provided an update on Karnataka Schools reopening. He said that the reopening of schools and pre University colleges in the state of Karnataka will depend upon the success of the graduate and postgraduate colleges which have opened so far. He was inspecting some of the colleges opened so far when he was quoted saying that although online classes are being conducted, not all the students are satisfied and have complained about shortfalls.
Reopening of Karnataka Schools
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Karnataka State Government will take several factors into account before giving a go-ahead to the reopening of schools and Pre-university colleges in the state. He said that now that the degree and postgraduate colleges have reopened in the state, it will allow the Government to take notice of the various pros and cons related to the reopening. He added only after having studied the same the State Government can think of reopening schools. He further said that while the State Government had decided to restart physical classes for graduate and postgraduate levels, arrangements are being made for COVID tests to be done free of cost.
Karnataka CET Counselling 2020
The counselling process for Karnataka CET 2020 to be held online due to COVID-19 is yet to be held. To this, the Deputy CM said that the Government is taking one step at a time and the Karnataka CET 2020 counselling dates will be announced soon. The Karnataka CET results were declared on 31st August 2020 for the exams f0r various courses held between 30th July and 1st August 2020. The toppers for various subjects were also announced by the Karnataka Deputy CM along with the result statistics for various subjects during the declaration of Karnataka result 2020.
