Mumbai University Semester Exams 2020 Guidelines: As per the latest update, the University of Mumbai has officially released the exam guidelines for the upcoming 1st, 3rd, 5th Semester Exams for the winter session. Keeping in mind the prevailing circumstances, the university will hold the winter semester exams online for both traditional as well as professional course students. In line with the COVID pandemic, the Director of the Board of Examination and Assessment Mr Vinod Patil has issued a detailed circular which are to be followed by all the authorities for the safe and sound conduct of the winter semester exams for Mumbai University. Exams to be Conducted by 15th January
According to the details shared by the university, the varsity plans to complete the winter semester exams for all the students by 15th January 2021. The circular states that the winter semester exam for students enrolled in traditional courses and MBA programmes will have to be completed by 31st December 2020. On the other hand, for professional courses including engineering, law, and pharmacy, the exam conducting deadline has been fixed at 15th January 2021.
Exam Pattern and Format
The exam guidelines circular also talks about the exam pattern that will be followed for the MU Winter Semester Exam 2020. For traditional courses, the university will follow a combination exam pattern consisting of both subjective as well as objective / MCQ type questions. On the other hand, for professional courses, the exam would be completely based on MCQ / objective type questions.
As per a report published by a leading media agency, the oral, practical, and viva exams will be held from 10th December and will be conducted via online platforms such as Google Meet, Skype, and Zoom and also on phone, wherever required. The varsity would also release a separate schedule for post-graduate exams soon.
